New Delhi: Ekta Kapoor was accused by YouTuber Hindustani Bhau of insulting the soldiers. Now filmmaker’s lawyer Rizwan Siddiqui has issued a statement on the allegations of YouTuber Hindustani Bhau. He said that a complaint was lodged against Ekta Kapoor in the year 2020 accusing the soldiers of insulting the soldiers. In this case, the Bandra court has sought an inquiry report from the police. But some people are posting false information in this matter.
Ekta Kapoor’s lawyer has raised the issue of filing a civil defamation case, demanding compensation of Rs 100 crore. Ekta Kapoor’s lawyer has issued a statement on the case, stating, ‘Some individuals and institutions have posted false information regarding the police complaint of 2020 with personal benefits, agenda and criminal purpose, which the police department Was already closed.
Ekta’s lawyer warned
The lawyer further said in the statement, ‘The case was again raised before the Bandra court. The court has sought a police investigation report, so that the truth and reality of the complaint brought before them can be ascertained. In such a situation, no one should issue any public statement or article with negligence, indicating that my client has done some wrong thing, as it has been said in the charge.
Attempted to discredit Ekta Kapoor
Ekta’s lawyer said that some people are still trying to discredit my client and gain popularity at the cost of their names and prestige. Therefore, I have been instructed to initiate strict legal action against those who do such wrong things under both civil and criminal laws. The lawyer further said that in addition to criminal action against those who did their clients, their clients are also considering filing a law of defamation of Rs 100 crore.
