Visakhapatnam, January 8
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said that the country has set a target of producing 5 million tonnes of green hydrogen by 2030 as part of the National Green Hydrogen Mission. Mr. Modi, after laying the virtual foundation stone of projects worth more than Rs 2 lakh crore and inaugurating many, said that one of the two hydrogen hubs to be set up in the country will be built in Visakhapatnam. Mr Modi said that Andhra Pradesh is a land of ‘possibilities and opportunities’ and the time has come to make it a hub for future technologies. Mr. Modi later also held a road show in Visakhapatnam, in which Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan were also present with him. -News-Patiala
