A program related to Lohri and Maghi festival was organized in Sri Guru Hargobind Senior Secondary School. Principal Jyoti Sharma and Chairman Sukhjinder Singh gave information about the importance of festivals in life. He shed light on the historical and religious significance of Lohri and Maghi and invited the children to leave evils from their lives. He also gave a message to celebrate the Lohri of girls with pomp. The event was made beautiful by presenting a colorful program by the students. It started with the dance of the girl Harnaj Kaur. Simrankaur gave a speech full of information about Lohri. A group dance was performed by the little girls. Songs related to Lohri were presented by the students. The performance of the class 11 girls made the colorful program a highlight. -Letter persuasive
