AAP state working president and MLA Amansher Singh Sherry Kalsi heard the problems of the people at the party office here. He said that various roads of Batala city, Kadian Road, Kahnuwan Chowk, Jalandhar Road and Batala-Amritsar Road in the city have been widened and the squares of the city have been widened. Similarly, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chowk near Usmanpur City, Sukha Singh-Mehtab Singh Chowk at Old Amritsar-Batala Bypass besides constructing Maharaja Agarsain Chowk is being given a new look. Big Akari Clock Tower will be installed here. He said that a mandi shed was constructed at a cost of 1.5 crores for the convenience of shopkeepers and aartis in Dana Mandi Batala.
