Full dress rehearsal of district level Republic Day event was held here today at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sports Stadium. Deputy Commissioner Shaukat Ahmed Pare, who arrived as the chief guest, inspected the parade and took salute from the troops participating in the parade. SSP Amanit Kondal and Parade Commander ASP Anubhav Jain were present on this occasion. After the rehearsal, the Deputy Commissioner held a meeting with the officials of various departments to make the event a success. SSP Amanit Kondal said that in view of the Republic Day, all preparations are complete to maintain the law and order situation in the district. Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian will perform the ceremony of unfurling the national tricolor in the function here.
