Republic Day celebrations were organized in various educational institutions of the city today. The local Springdale Public School also celebrated Republic Day with great fervor. During the event, a Hindi paper reading competition was organized on the theme ‘Mera Bharat Mahan’. Meanwhile, the kindergarten children arrived dressed as patriots and soldiers. On this occasion, the students painted the school campus with patriotic colors through patriotic songs. Simran Saini, Anshita Sarin, Lavanya and Naisha bagged the first four positions in the paper reading competition. School Chairperson Avinash Kaur Walia, Directors Mandeep Walia, Kamalpreet Kaur and Principal Anil Kumar Sharma gave the welcome address. A patriotic song competition was organized in Guru Nanak International Public School. Republic Day was celebrated in the school under the leadership of Principal Amrita Bansal and Coordinator Sunita Arora. School president Sudhir Sehgal and secretary Yashpal Bangia congratulated.

Jagraon (Personal News-Patiala): Republic Day was celebrated today at Mahant Lachman Das (MLD) Senior Secondary School Talwandi Kalan near here. On this occasion, Principal Baldev Bawa performed the flag hoisting ceremony and school staff were present with him. Ramandeep Kaur gave information about the constitution of the country. Principal Baldev Bawa motivated the students by congratulating them on the Republic Day.
