Punjab News: The body of Amandeep Singh Amna, a 20-year-old youth who went missing in Ramgarh Sandhuan, a village near Lehragaga, has been found in an uninhabited house in Punjabi Bag Colony of Lehragaga. Taking immediate action, the police has sent the body to Civil Hospital Munak for post-mortem.
SHO Sadar Inspector Vinod Kumar said that Kewal Singh of village Ramgarh Sandhuan had filed a report of Amandeep Singh Amna missing from his house in a mysterious condition on January 4. Meanwhile, the police received the information that Amna’s dead body was found in an uninhabited house in Punjabi Bagh Colony today. On the statement of the deceased’s father, Kewal Singh, the police have added relevant clauses in the case registered against five people and arrested one accused.
Amana was the only son of his parents. According to the FIR, Kewal Singh son of Dhan Singh, a resident of Ramgarh Sandhuan police station Lehragaga, in a statement filed with the police, informed that Amandeep left home on January 4, 2025 and did not return home. The police had registered a case against unknown persons at the Lehragaga police station in this regard on January 7.
Kewal Singh said that on investigation, he came to know that his son Amandeep Singh alias Aman was involved in the alleged money transaction with Amandeep Singh Jawaharwala, Sandeep, Jogpuri, Pawan Singh and Happy Lehragaga, following which these five, due to this grudge, His son Amandeep Singh alias Amna was killed by eating something poisonous or injecting poison and his body was found in Punjabi Bagh. Dumped in a deserted barn at the colony.
According to SHO Vinod Kumar, the cause of death will be known only in the post-mortem report. He said that the matter is being investigated and soon all the accused will be arrested.
