New Delhi, January 1
Delhi Politics: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal has on Wednesday written a letter to Rashtriya Soymsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat and in it has accused the BJP of stealing votes and distributing money in Delhi. Several questions have been raised in the letter written by Kejriwal to the RSS chief before the Delhi Assembly elections.
It is to be noted that the elections to the 70-member Delhi Vidhan Sabha are to be held in the coming month of February. Former Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal asked Bhagwat whether the alleged ‘wrongdoings’ done by the BJP also have the support of the RSS. He asked if the RSS supported the money being distributed openly by BJP leaders to buy votes and the saffron party’s massive ‘cutting’ of Purvanchali and Dalit votes.
The BJP has accused AAP and Kejriwal of helping illegal Rohingyas and Bangladeshis living in Delhi with documents and money to use them as vote banks in the elections. Taking a dig at Kejriwal, Delhi BJP chief Virender Sachdeva has urged him to give up ‘bad and dishonest’ politics as a New Year’s resolution. -News-Patiala
