Patiala is set to get a model sub-registrar office under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. The chief minister announced the proposal while inspecting the sub-registrar’s office on October 13, 2023.
The model sub-registrar office will provide all the facilities required for land and property registration under one roof, including deed writers, bank fee counters, online facilities, and air-conditioned waiting rooms. This will make it easier and more convenient for citizens to register their properties.
The chief secretary of the state, Anurag Verma, is also taking a special interest in the development of the model sub-registrar office. He has instructed the authorities to provide all the necessary facilities at one place.
