News Patiala: Due to 78th Fire Service Week, Fire Brigade Patiala provided training on fire accidents to doctors and staff at Manipal Hospital and CHC Model Town. During the camp, Sub Fire Officer Rajinder Kumar informed the doctors, staff, and patients about the types of fire, fire control, and prevention of fire accidents. He also briefed the entire staff about the fire brigade and fire extinguishers.

On the occasion, Assistant Divisional Fire Officer Lachhman Das Sharma appealed that all the hospitals operating in Sahir should also make basic fire safety arrangements so that they could be used in case of any untoward incident and no objection was raised by the fire department in this regard. A certificate should also be issued. He also said that in case of any fire accident, first of all, fire safety measures can be put in place as the fire does not take long to get under control if the small fire is brought under control. Then many precious lives and property can be saved. On this occasion firefighters Tarun Kumar, Deepak Kumar, and Dixit Sharma showed the staff of the hospital how to control the fire through a fire tender.
