Sunita Ahuja has filed for divorce from Govinda. In an interview to Stardust in 1990, Govinda openly admitted that he loved Neelam Kothari and wanted to marry him. The actor had said, ‘As much as I knew him (Neelam Kothari), I liked him as a woman on whom any man could lose his heart. I lost my heart. Govinda, Neelam Kothari had become crazy in love in such a way that he did not get tired of praising his friends, family and even his wife.
Govinda wanted to make Sunita like Neelam Kothari
Govinda himself admitted that he wanted to change Sunita. He wanted Sunita to change herself so that she could become like Neelam Kothari. However, the legendary actor’s wife Sunita kept reminding her from time to time that she is a separate person and Govinda initially loved her as she was.
Govinda married Sunita under compulsion
Govinda and Sunita Ahuja, who lived married for 38 years, were entangled from the beginning.
