News Patiala: 11th July – The district administration of Patiala has set up four relief camps to provide shelter and basic amenities to people affected by the recent floods. The camps are located at Prem Bagh Palace, Government College for Women, Patiala, Government Senior Secondary School, Patiala, and Government Middle School, Patiala.
The camps are being run by the Assistant Commissioner (UT), Dr. Akshata Gupta. She said that all the necessary arrangements have been made to ensure the comfort and safety of the people staying in the camps.
The camps provide food, water, medical care, and other essential services. They also have arrangements for recreation and entertainment.
Dr. Gupta said that the district administration is committed to providing the best possible care to the people affected by the floods. She urged the people to stay in the camps and not to venture out unless it is absolutely necessary.
