Chandigarh, August 10: A controversy has erupted over the recent song Still Alive by Punjab’s famous singer Manpreet Singh alias Singga. A complaint has been registered against the singer and his colleagues regarding this song.
There are allegations against the singer that he has used vulgar words in the song and has used the dress of the Christian community in the song.
Thana City Police has booked Section 294-120B IPC against Manpreet Singh alias Singga, Producer Big K Singh, Director Amandeep Singh, Viran Verma and Jatin Arora for allegedly using vulgar and objectionable words in the song.
A case has been registered under Amandeep Sahota President Bhim Rao Yuva Force Kapurthala said in a complaint to Thana City Police that Punjabi singer Manpreet Singh aka Singha has been allegedly trying to misguide the youth of Punjab by promoting songs with weapons and now. He has launched a new song about a month ago which is playing continuously on Punjabi channels which is full of lasciviousness and obscenity.
Thana City Police has registered a case against Manpreet Singh alias Singha and his four other associates on the complaint of Amandeep Sahota and ASI Devinder Pal is investigating the matter.
