Manila:- A 27-year-old Punjabi boy was shot dead in Manila on Wednesday. Nishan Singh, a resident of Randhawa village in Kapurthala district, was killed by two assailants who came on a bike.
The incident took place at a restaurant where Nishan was sitting with his friends. The assailants opened fire on him, killing him on the spot.
Nishan’s father, Prem Singh, said that he received a call from Manila on Wednesday evening informing him of his son’s death. He said that the family is in a state of shock and has demanded that the government bring Nishan’s body back to India as soon as possible.
The police are investigating the matter and have registered a case of murder. They are trying to identify the assailants and the motive behind the killing.
