News Patiala: A resident of Mahes village in Nabha, has won a bronze medal in the Commonwealth Games. There is a happy atmosphere in the village family. Children from ordinary families continue to excel at Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022. Female weightlifter Harjinder Kaur won the bronze medal in the 71 kg category by lifting a total of 212 weights. Harjinder lifted 93 kg snatch and 119 kg clean jerk. Harjinder has also been a kabaddi and wrestling player. Harjinder Kaur’s coach Paramjit Sharma says that Harjinder has been very hardworking.
