Nabha girl won a medal in Commonwealth

News Patiala: A resident of Mahes village in Nabha, has won a bronze medal in the Commonwealth Games. There is a happy atmosphere in the village family. The family was made sweet by the villagers and bhangra was also laid. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Harjinder Kaur by tweeting.

Children from ordinary families continue to excel at Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022. Female weightlifter Harjinder Kaur won the bronze medal in the 71 kg category by lifting a total of 212 weights. Harjinder lifted 93 kg snatch and 119 kg clean jerk. Sahib Singh of Mehs village near Nabha and Kuldeep Kaur’s darling Harjinder behind this achievement is their hard work.

Harjinder has also been a kabaddi and wrestling player. Harjinder Kaur’s coach Paramjit Sharma says that Harjinder has been very hardworking. First played tug of war and then started weight lifting in 2016. According to Coach Sharma, Harjinder has been staying at his house for a long time during training.
