News Patiala: Keerti Dubey, a six-year-old girl from Uttar Pradesh’s Kanauj district, recently wrote a letter to Prime Minister Modi, complaining about the rising prices of things used in her daily life and expressing her frustration over the same.
A class 1 student wrote a letter in Hindi. “My name is Kirti Dubey, I study in class 1. You have increased the prices too much. My pencils and erasers have also become expensive, and the price of Maggi has also increased. When I ask for a pencil, my mother beats me. what do I do Other students steal my pencil,” she wrote.
She also told how she went to the shop to buy Maggi worth Rs 5 but the shopkeeper told her its price was Rs 7. This caused him a lot of trouble, due to which he wrote this letter.
Keerti’s father Vishal Dubey said that Keerti was upset after her mom scolded her for asking for a pencil. “I have sent the letter to the PMO by registered post; My daughter wanted it to reach Modiji and she also wants to hear from him,” she told TOI.
