In the government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, today one minister was ‘out’ and one MLA was ‘in’ and became a minister.
The vacancy left by the resignation of S: Fauja Singh Sarari has been filled with Patiala Rural MLA Dr. Balbir Singh, but there has been an important change in the departments of 6 ministers including the Chief Minister.
Ministers whose portfolios have not been changed include Mr. Harpal Singh Cheema, Mr. Aman Arora, Mr. Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar, Mr. Brahm Shankar Jimpa, Dr. Baljit Kaur, Mr. Harbhajan Singh. ETo, S: Laljit Singh Bhullar and Lal Chand Kataruchak included.
Chief Minister Mr. Bhagwant Mann will now also have the prison department which was before held by Mr. Harjot Singh Bains. S: After taking back the mining department from Harjot Singh Bains, it has been given to Mr. Meet Hare.
S: Harjot Singh Bains will now be the Minister of School Education, Higher Education Technical Education, and Industrial Training.
S: The health department has been taken back from Chetan Singh Jauramajra and given to the new minister Dr. Balbir Singh.

- The jail department taken over from Harjot Bains will now be taken over by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann
- Anmol Gagan Mann has now been given the hospitality department along with his old portfolios.
