In fact, his speech given at an event in Hyderabad has created a political storm, where he accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) of preparing ‘genocide’ of Muslims, tribals and minorities. He said, ‘Whatever is happening in this country is preparation for genocide. They want to destroy Muslims, want to destroy tribals, want to destroy minorities. This is their agenda. Raj described RSS as a monster hidden under water and BJP as a lotus and said that the real power lies with RSS, which is not a political party. He compared it with the fascist movements of Europe, where Hitler and Benito Mussolini depended on political parties, but RSS is the hidden force.
