Taking this path forward, in 2025, Aamir Khan once again came forward with a sensitive and important topic through his film Sitare Zameen Par. This film is also based on the same issue, but this time the scale is bigger, the story is new and its impact seems to be wider than before. After the release of Sitare Zameen Par, its impact was not limited to just social media or theatres. This issue reached the Supreme Court, and a major decision was taken from there. After the hearing in Samay Raina’s ‘India Got Latent’ case, the court directed four social media influencers including Samay Raina to give space to children suffering from dyslexia and other rare diseases on their social media platforms and public events at least twice a month.
Ordered to spend time with dyslexic children
The purpose of this decision was to take the controversy in a positive direction and make people aware about these situations. The court clearly said that this step is necessary, especially when earlier some comedians had made a video making fun of dyslexic people.
