South superstar and Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan recently told that he has now made up his mind to retire from films. He said that now he will keep distance from acting and will only pay attention to politics. However, he will be associated with films as a producer.

In an interview, Pawan Kalyan said that, ‘I will retire now’ I really want to retire. I never thought that I would be in films for so many years. In 2006-2007, he had made up his mind that I would leave the films. At that time I thought that I would direct five films and then say goodbye. But in 2003, his debut direction film ‘Johnny’ did not run at the box office, causing all his plans. If Johnny would go on, I would make four more films and then go into politics. But the problem was that I had not made any other source of earnings other than films, that is why I kept working in films.

Recently, he has completed shooting for ‘OG’ and ‘Ustad Bhagat Singh’. There is only a little shooting of ‘Hari Hari Veera Mallu Part 2’. After this, he will only be active in politics and will work as a producer in films. Keeping his further talk, he said, ‘I have a production house but never activated till now. Now it seems that the time has come. I will not act but I will definitely produce. After OG and Ustad Bhagat Singh, I have not signed anything new.
