Shah Rukh is the best pair of 90s- Kajol, 7 films did romance, all hits, but both did not marry, know the reason

In Indian cinema, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol are one of the most famous on-screen couples of Bollywood, who has mesmerized the audience with their best chemistry in films like Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gum, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Both of them have romanced in about 7 best films of cinema, but they remain only friends in life. The pair last appeared in Rohit Shetty’s film Dilwale alongside Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon. In an old promotional interview, both were asked if they had dated each other if they were single.

During the interview with NDTV, Kajol revealed, ‘I don’t know honestly because I think I was dating Ajay (Devgan, her husband) at the time when we were six months old in Baazigar.’ Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan responded in a funny manner and said, ‘I was also watching Ajay at that time.’ Moving forward, Shah Rukh and Kajol first appeared on screen together in the best film Baazigar, where Shah Rukh was highly praised for playing a gray role. Meanwhile, both of them in the film made him a popular on-screen pair in Bollywood.

At the same time, talking about his personal life, Shah Rukh married Gauri Khan with Hindu customs before making his Bollywood debut. Later, the couple welcomed their first child Aryan in 1997 and their daughter Suhana in 2000. His third child Abram was born in 2013. On the other hand, Kajol started dating Ajay Devgan in 1994 and married him at the actor’s house at the Maharashtrian ceremony in 1999. He currently has a son Yug Devgan and a daughter Nyasa Devgan.

On the work front, Shah Rukh, who was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s film Dunki, is ready for an action thriller film called King. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film also stars his daughter Suhana Khan and actor Abhishek Bachchan in lead roles. In addition, Kajol will appear in the film Maa directed by Vishal Furia. Released in theaters on 27 June 2025, this horror film also stars Ronit Roy, Indranil Sengupta, Jitin Gulati, Gopal Singh, Suranshikha Das, Yania Bhardwaj, Roopkatha Chakravarti and Kherin Sharma.
