CBSE Class 10 Exam Cancelled: Amid the deteriorating situation in the Middle East, the CBSE Board has taken a major decision. In view of the escalating tension and war-like situation between Iran, Israel and the US, the 10th class board exams have been completely canceled for the safety of the students living there. This means that Class 10 students studying in Gulf countries will not have to take any more exams. Meanwhile, the Class 12 exams have been postponed for the time being. A new schedule will be fixed once the situation improves.

CBSE 10th Board Exams Cancelled: Big News for People of Middle East
The war between Iran and Israel-US in the Middle East has taken a dangerous turn. There have been reports of attacks near residential areas in cities such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi. It has become unsafe for students to reach exam centers. In response to growing concerns of students and parents, CBSE has taken this emergency decision for schools in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Different rules for 10th and 12th class students
Class 10: The CBSE board exams scheduled to be held on March 7 and 11, 2026 will no longer be held. The earlier postponed papers have also been cancelled, meaning the board exams for class 10 students are now over.
Class 12: CBSE Board has postponed the exams for senior secondary students only. The March 7 exam has been postponed. A decision on conducting the exam on March 9 will be taken after the review meeting on March 7.
How CBSE Board Results will be prepared without taking the exam?
The board will soon release the formula for preparing the results for the 10th class students. It is assumed that the final result will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the subjects for which the papers have been completed and on the basis of the marks obtained in the internal assessment or pre-board examinations. The aim of the board is to ensure that the students get proper grading without any discrimination, allowing them to get admission in the next class.
The CBSE board has directed schools in all affected counties to stay in constant touch with students and parents. Grade 12 students have been advised to continue their studies. Ignore any rumors.
