Punjab Govt formed a five-member committee to resist drugs

The Punjab Government has formed a five-member cabinet committee for drugs in the region.

The committee will have a member of the Committee, Harpal Singh Cheema while new and renewable energy ministers will be members of Aman Arora, Transport Minister Laljit Singh Ballar and Minister of State for Health Ministeral.

The primary responsibility of the committee must bear drugs and oversee the activities of the police and health departments.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann for overs and coordinate the drug redefunction and rehabilitation program The leadership of Sinha also built a state searing committee, which was the Nodal Officer Principal Secretary Rahul Tewari.

The ruling Aam Party (AAP) had to face criticism on the issue of drugs during the Lok Sabha elections last year.
