A youth on a scooter was robbed by three armed robbers near a private hospital located on Moga Road in the town. Puneet Jain, a young victim, said that when he reached the private hospital on Moga Road last night, one of the three armed robbers hiding there attacked him with a baseball bat and threw him. The other took out the Kirpan and asked to give everything. He said that the robbers took away Rs 42,500, a silver bracelet and a mobile phone from them and escaped. The police chief says that they raided the houses of many accused but no accused came into their hands. He said that the accused will be caught soon.
