In view of the Republic Day, the holidays of all police personnel in the state have been canceled till January 27. These orders have been issued today by the DGP of Punjab, Gaurav Yadav. According to the orders issued by the DGP, no leave will be granted to any policeman in Punjab till January 27. This was confirmed by IG Headquarters of Punjab Police. Sukhchain Singh Gill has done it.
Mr. Gill said that these orders have been issued to maintain security arrangements on the arrival of Republic Day on January 26. He said that no leave will be given to any policeman in the state till January 27, if someone’s leave has been approved earlier, it will also be cancelled. Mr. Gill said that the Punjab Police will be ready 24 hours throughout the state for the safety of the people.
