Punjab News: Bus overturned due to collision with truck, seven injured

Dense fog that has started in recent days has affected normal life and promoted accidents. On Friday, a bus of Orbit Company collided with a truck going ahead and overturned in a field on the Abohar-Malot road near Karamgarh village in Lambi constituency. Seven passengers including the bus and the driver were injured in the accident. According to the information received, the injured have been admitted to the government hospital in Malot.

People present at the spot said that the bus going from Abohtar to Malot was running at low speed due to fog, which prevented any major damage. The injured have been identified as bus driver Chhinda Singh, conductor Gaggu Singh, passenger Rajinder Dhamiza resident of Ganganagar, Nasib Kaur Azamwala, Sukhjinder Singh Chak Saido K, Lakshni Abohar and Surinder resident of Ferozepur.
