Bumper recruitment in Territorial Army, see important dates according to states  – News-Patiala ਪੰਜਾਬੀ

A bumper recruitment drive for Territorial Army (TA) (Territorial Army Rally Recruitment 2025) has been announced. Recruitment rallies will be held in different zones across the country. The first phase of the program (Physical Efficiency and Medical Examination) will be held from November 15, 2025 to December 14, 2025 at the following locations for eligible candidates from the states of Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

The recruitment rally for Delhi and Haryana states will be held between November 28 to December 10, 2025. The recruitment rally for Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Telangana, Goa and Dadra Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Lakshadweep and Pondicherry will be held from November 15 to December 1.

These recruitments will be for various posts including GD Solider and Soldier Clerk. Candidates participating in the recruitment are advised to bring all their original documents.

Written test for final selected candidates
The second stage will be a written test, the details of which will be announced later. There will be negative marking in the written test.

There will be no application fee.

What is Territorial Army?
In essence, by joining the Territorial Army, you can gain military experience while remaining a civilian. This is a voluntary service. After training you, the army can use your services when required. Many individuals are unable to join the military for various reasons. The Army offers such youth another opportunity to serve the country through Territorial Army recruitment.

Civilians can join the military while continuing their jobs or businesses. The Territorial Army is a voluntary organization that does not guarantee regular employment. This organization does not make any promises of long-term employment. It is not considered a regular job nor a source of income.

It was built in 1948 and is also known as the Second Line of Defence. The Territorial Army participated in the Kargil War of 1962, 1965, 1971 and 1999. It has participated in many military operations. In addition, it plays an important role in restoring essential services during natural calamities. Territorial Army personnel serve alongside regular Army personnel in peacetime and in support of national emergencies or conflicts.
