UT Cadre Educational Employees Union under the leadership of President Swaran Singh Kamboj today met the Director School Education regarding the demands of the teachers and principals of Chandigarh and the Director School Education assured the union that the demands will be fulfilled soon. Before giving appointment letters to new lecturers, Mr. Kamboj demanded that the TGTs working in government schools should be promoted as lecturers and JBT should be formed into TGTs. He said that the principals who have been working as executive for about three years should be made permanent principals by doing DPC as many executive principals have retired without DPC. On this occasion, Mr. Kamboj also raised the matter of medical leave with the director. Mr. Brar assured that the reasonable demands of the teachers will be resolved soon.
