Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal, targeting the BJP, criticized the party’s manifesto. He said that in its two resolution papers issued by the BJP, the BJP (Delhi BJP) has accepted and directly announced that they will close the mohalla clinics in Delhi and the free government schools in Delhi. Education will be stopped. The former Chief Minister of Delhi further wrote that he had already said that the BJP is fighting the Delhi elections to stop all the schemes being given only to the people of Delhi. They have now accepted that they are fighting for free education and we will stop it. Meanwhile, AAP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has targeted BJP’s manifesto. Posting on his X account, he wrote that BJP’s manifesto is against the poor and the people of Delhi. BJP has announced in its manifesto that it will stop free education of 18 lakh children.
Sisodia wrote that the BJP has said in its manifesto that it will end mohalla clinics and free treatment. He said that the BJP only knows how to take away the facilities of the poor by demolishing the slums.
Promises made to Dhobi society
Aam Aadmi Party National Convener Arvind Kejriwal has made many big announcements for the Dhobi community. Kejriwal said that the Delhi government will constitute Dhobi Social Welfare Board. In this board the dhobi community will be able to share their problems and suggestions. Press sheds will be regularized across Delhi and the licensing process for washermen will resume. He said that electricity and water charges will be collected from the people of the Dhobi community not at the commercial level but at the domestic level. Good education and scholarships will be provided for the children of Dhobi community and good training will be given to the youth.
