Republic Day: Tight security for the state-level event

Preparations are being made by the administration for the state level Republic Day function to be held at the football ground of Punjab Agricultural University. The police have also completed preparations for security during the event. The police have made various preparations for the security of the event. The entire PAU has been converted into a police cantonment. Punjab Governor Gulabchand Kataria will hoist the national flag in the event. About two thousand police personnel will be deployed for the security of the event. who will handle the event as well as the security arrangements of the city. Police personnel in plain uniform will also be stationed during the event.

Adequate security arrangements have been made by Ludhiana Police in PAU. Along with this, security has also been increased in the surrounding area. Before the event, the entry and exit points of the city have been sealed by the police. The police are keeping an eye on every vehicle that comes and goes. Apart from this, the police has also increased security in the main markets so that no untoward incident takes place. Police personnel in plain uniform will be posted at many places. Security has also been increased at the bus stand and railway station by the police.
