India sought justice for the citizen of Kerala killed in the Russia-Ukraine war

India has demanded justice for an Indian citizen who was shot dead on the Russia-Ukraine war front. Taking up this issue with Moscow, India has appealed to Moscow to send back another Indian citizen who was injured in the battlefield as soon as possible. These two Indian citizens belonging to Kerala were forced to join the Russian army in the war against Ukraine. The war between Russia and Ukraine has been going on since February 2022. Sources have identified the killed Indian citizen as Binil Babu (32) resident of Kuttanellur (Kerala) and the injured as Jain TK (27). Both of them are related to each other. The Ministry of External Affairs said that the injured Indian citizen is undergoing treatment in a hospital in Moscow. The ministry said in a statement, “We express our deepest condolences to the victim’s family. Our embassy in Moscow is in touch with the families and all possible assistance has been provided. We are working closely with the Russian authorities to bring back the dead body of the Indian citizen as soon as possible. We have also demanded that the injured Indian citizen be discharged from the hospital soon and sent to India.”
