State level function of National Voter’s Day was organized in Government College Girls of Ludhiana. The function was presided over by Additional Chief Electoral Officer Harish Nair. Ludhiana Deputy Commissioner Jatinder Jorwal, Joint Chief Electoral Officer Secretary Singh Ball, Additional Deputy Commissioner Amarjit Bains, Kulpreet Singh were present in the event.
The event started with a motorcycle rally in which hundreds of youth participated and spread the message of the right to vote among the people. During the state-level function, election officials were felicitated for their exemplary services during the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. Among the award recipients were Deputy Commissioner Mansa Kulwant Singh, DC Ludhiana Jatinder Jorwal, Hoshiarpur Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal, Director Youth Services Harpreet Singh Sudan, Assistant Commissioner Kritika Goyal. Goyal received the award from Amritsar Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sahni, Additional Deputy Commissioner Ropar Pooja Sial Grewal, Additional Deputy Commissioner Jagraon Kulpreet Singh, Moga Sweep Nodal Officer Shubhi Angra, Ferozepur Election Tehsildar Chand Prakash, PWD Cyclist Manmohan Singh, Best ERO Kuldeep Bawa, Best Sweep Nodal Officer Harjot Singh, Best BLO. Karamjit Kaur and others also received the award.
