Dr Ambedkar visited RSS ‘branch’ in 1940: Sangh’s media wing claims

It said that the RSS has faced many challenges in its journey so far and many accusations have been leveled at it, but it has ‘disproved’ all these accusations and its identity as a social organization. According to the statement Dr. Ambedkar visited a ‘shakha’ (local unit) of the RSS at Karad in Satara district on January 2, 1940, where he also addressed the Swayam Sevaks (volunteers) of the Sangh. It has been said that in his address, Dr. Ambedkar had said, “Although there are differences on some issues, I look upon the Sangh with affection.”

At the beginning of the eighth chapter of the book, Thengari says that Dr. Ambedkar had full knowledge of RSS. Its Swayamsevaks were in regular touch with them and held discussions with them.

The statement also said that Mahatma Gandhi also visited the RSS camp at Wardha in 1934, where he realized that the Sangh had volunteers from different castes and religions. VSK said, “He personally experienced that no swam sevak in the camp was interested in knowing his caste or the caste of other swam sevaks.
