Congress will soon shift its headquarters to the new office ‘Indira Bhavan’ located on Kotla Marg. This office is likely to be inaugurated next week. According to sources, senior party leaders will attend the inauguration ceremony of the new building located at 9A, Kotla Marg. However, the party will not vacate the office at 24, Akbar Road, which has been the party’s headquarters since its formation in 1978. The construction of the new headquarters took several years due to lack of funds after the party’s government at the Center left. -News-Patiala
