The annual Jood Mela dedicated to the birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh is being celebrated from January 4 to 6 at the nearby historical shrine Gurdwara Katana Sahib. In this regard, Gurdwara manager Narinderjit Singh said that Akhand Path Sahib will begin on the first day and Bhog will be offered on January 6. Meanwhile, the Nagar Kirtan will start from the Gurdwara Sahib, which will be completed by coming back to the Gurdwara Sahib, passing through the surrounding villages. On this occasion, different ragi, dhadi and kavishri groups will perform katha kirtan.
