News Patiala:- The Punjab government is offering free Punjabi stenography training to eligible graduate (BA pass) candidates resident of the state of Punjab belonging to Scheduled Castes. The training will be conducted at district-level training centers in Patiala, Sangrur, Jalandhar, Rupnagar, and Chandigarh.
To be eligible, candidates must:
- Be a member of a Scheduled Caste
- Be a resident of Punjab
- Have a graduation degree
- Have passed 10th grade with Punjabi as a subject
- Be unemployed
Applications are being accepted until August 20, 2023. Candidates can apply in the prescribed proforma, which is available on the Department of Welfare’s website (www.welfare.punjab.gov.in).
The training will be conducted for one year and will cover all aspects of Punjabi stenography, including theory, practice, and typing. Candidates who successfully complete the training will be given a stipend of Rs.250/- per month.
