FCI Patiala teams sampled wheat crops in five mandis of the district
Patiala: FCI teams started sampling in the grain markets of the district on Thursday morning itself. At around ten in the morning, the FCI team reached the new grain market located on Sirhid Road here. Where the team members did sampling from different heaps of the crop planted in the market. Although the procurement process of the crop remained stalled in the market during this period, the procurement process started after about 12 o’clock.
On this occasion, the team in-charge Subhash Dadwal said that today samples of the wheat crop have been taken by visiting some other mandis including Nabha which will be sent for further examination. Apart from Patiala, different teams of FCI took samples of wheat crops in Nabha, Samana, Shutrana, and Patan grain markets.
