News Patiala: The Punjab government is starting to install smart meters in homes. Under this, in the first phase, instructions have been issued to install smart meters in government offices, government quarters, and government employees’ homes.
On August 31, a letter was issued by the Punjab State Power Corporation Limited office, Bathinda. In which information was given in this regard.
The Punjab government has issued orders to start the installation of electricity smart meters in the homes of government employees.
In a letter issued on 31 August 2022, the Punjab government has ordered the installation of smart electricity meters in the homes of government employees by 15 September.
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਾਕਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮਾਰਟ ਮੀਟਰ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਪੜਾਅ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਦਫਤਰਾਂ, ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਕੁਆਟਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਮੁਲਾਜਮਾ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮਾਰਟ ਮੀਟਰ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਹਦਾਇਤ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
31 ਅਗਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਰਾਜ ਪਾਵਰ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਲਿਮਿਟਡ ਦਫਤਰ ਬਠਿੰਡਾ ਵੱਲੋ ਇੱਕ ਪੱਤਰ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੋਈਆ। ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਮੁਲਾਜਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਸਮਾਰਟ ਮੀਟਰ ਲਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
31 ਅਗਸਤ 2022 ਨੂੰ ਜਾਰੀ ਪੱਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ 15 ਸਤੰਬਰ ਤੱਕ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਮੁਲਾਜਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਰਟ ਮੀਟਰ ਲਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।
