News Patiala: 11th and 12th class students of Government Girls Senior Secondary School visited the District Employment and Business Bureau. He received information about the efforts being made by the Bureau for employment and self-employment for the youth.
On this occasion, the experts of the bureau also conducted career counseling for the female students, in which 61 female students participated. On this occasion, District Employment Officer Simpi Singla made the girl students aware of the importance of higher education and encouraged them to take career-oriented courses.
He also shared information about resume writing, and interview skills with the students. Dr. Career Counselor Rupsi Pahuja also informed the students about the activities of the Bureau like skill courses, free coaching, employment help, registration, self-employment, counseling, placement camps, etc.
He said that the bureau provides employment opportunities to the students by organizing placement camps from time to time. Preparation for competitive examinations is also conducted. On this occasion, while answering the questions asked by the students about their careers, he said that after graduation or occupation-oriented courses, the students have immense possibilities of starting a job and self-employment. He also instructed the students to prepare for the competitive examinations.
