Regional Passport Officer, Jalandhar Yashpal informed that the number of slots per day increased from 60 to 80. The quota of General Passport Application New and Renew at Post Office Passport Service Center (POPSK) Moga to smooth facilities to the applicants. The number of slots per day has increased from 60 to 80.
Disclosing this here today the Regional Passport Officer said that earlier there was a quota of 60 appointments per day. Whereas the demand was very high and in view of the increased demand for this service the Regional Passport Office Jalandhar has decided to extend MEA. Was requested, which was accepted and 20 new slots were added.
He said that the applicants have been able to check and book the Passport and PCC appointment on www.passportindia.gov.in after paying and applying online. He said that people do not need to consult any mediator for such services as no such institution or mediator has been authorized by the passport office. He advised the people to stay away from anyone who promises to provide passport-related services. He said that they can avail the services through the official portal.
