| DC Patiala honors children: Punjab Skill Development Mission |
News Patiala: Punjab Skill Development Mission and District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises (DBEE) Patiala today organized a competition to make decorative items from recycled plastic. On this occasion, DC Sakshi Sahni awarded certificates to the winners of the competitions.
ADC Gurpreet Singh Thind and District Employment Officer Sipy Singla were present on the occasion. DC commended the students who participated in the competition and said that recycling damaged bottles into decorative items is an art.
The administration has also set up a Vertical Garden of empty bottles in the Mini Secretariat. An empty bottle bank has also been set up to motivate people to use it for gardening. From where anyone can get an empty bottle and make a garden.
Giving information about the competitions, Gaggandip Kaur of Punjab Skill Development Mission said that the students undergoing training under the mission participated in the matches and prepared different types of utensils.
