 Fire News: 7 killed in Mumbai 20-storey building fire

Mumbai, A.N.I. A fire broke out in a 20-story Kamala building near Bhatia Hospital in Tardeo, Mumbai. The fire broke out at 7.30 am on Saturday. This is a level 3 fire. Seven people died in the accident and 15 were hospitalized. Of the 15 admitted to the hospital, three remain in critical condition while the remaining 12 are being kept in the general ward.

Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar said that six senior citizens who were in need of an oxygen support system have been sent to the hospital. Five ambulances have been arranged on the spot to transport the injured to the hospital. The fire was contained but the smoke was heavy. All people are saved. Awaiting further details in this regard. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. The fire reportedly started on the 18th floor of the building and spread.
