Devotees arriving at the building shouting “maa” are looking forward to the snowfall. Along with the maa darshan, these devotees are also enjoying the snowfall to the fullest. The cold snap on the building has intensified after the snowfall. Shrine Board staff are removing snow falling on the way. Care is being taken not to slip on the road due to this snow. According to the information received, about half a foot of snow has fallen on the building of Mata Vaishno Devi so far. The same is true of the common roof. 

There is more snow in Bhairon valley. There is up to a foot of snow. There are up to 2 feet of snow on Mount Trikuta. It is still snowing. Due to inclement weather, the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has suspended helicopter service for the time being for the safety of the pilgrims.

Pedestrians are all open. Devotees can be seen walking towards Mata Vaishno Devi Bhavan on these routes. The Bhairon Valley cable car service is also running and the pilgrims are also heading towards Bhairon Valley after visiting MAA Vaishno Devi.
