100 Aam Aadmi Clinics now functional for people in Punjab

News Patiala, August 17, 2022: 25 more Aam Aadmi Clinics were dedicated to the people of the state on Tuesday as part of the commitment of the Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab government to provide quality healthcare services to the people.

The Chief Minister said, today we have dedicated 25 more clinics to the people as part of our commitment to the people to create a network of such clinics to provide free quality healthcare services. Those are also to the 75 clinics dedicated on August 15.

The Chief Minister said that soon such clinics will be opened in every corner of the state, through which people will be provided free quality health services. He said that a total of 100 clinics have started functioning in the state. More such clinics will be started with each passing day. Bhagwant Mann said that this revolutionary initiative will prove to be a revolutionary initiative to restore the health care infrastructure in the state.

The Chief Minister said that the state government is doing to make Punjab healthy and disease free by providing quality health services. This is a modest effort. Bhagwant Mann expressed hope that the residents of the state will no longer have to spend huge amounts of money in hospitals for treatment and other diagnostic facilities. He said that patients can avail these medical services by visiting clinics or by making online bookings.

The Chief Minister said that people will not only get quality healthcare services for free. But for this, you will not have to go far from your home. He said that the previous governments did not pay attention to providing healthcare services to the people. Due to this common people had to face hardships. Bhagwant Mann said that with this humble effort of the Aam Aadmi government, the foundation of the revolution in the health care sector will be laid.

The Chief Minister said that 41 packages containing around 100 clinical tests will be given free of cost in these Aam Aadmi clinics. He expressed hope that 90 percent of patients would be treated through these clinics. This will reduce the burden on hospitals. Bhagwant Mann further said that only patients with serious diseases will be referred to big hospitals for further treatment.
