News Patiala– 28th July:- A young man from Patiala, Punjab, was arrested at the Delhi airport on July 24 for traveling on a fake visa to Serbia. The man, Jatinder Singh, was planning to use the fake visa to travel to Canada.
Singh was apprehended by immigration officials during boarding. After an investigation, it was revealed that his visa was fake. Singh was then arrested and a case of fraud was registered against him.
The Delhi Police is now looking for four travel agents from Punjab who are suspected of issuing the fake visa. These agents are residents of Ludhiana, Jalandhar, and Patiala.
Singh’s family had mortgaged their house to raise the 8 lakh rupees that they paid to the travel agents. They were hoping that Singh would be able to travel to Canada and find a better life there.
