Basant Ritu Club Conducts Eye Surgery Camp

             Basant Ritu Youth Club Tripuri Patiala organized a monthly eye checkup and operation camp. The camp was set up by Basant Ritu Youth Club at Guru Tegh Bahadur Eye Hospital. Association with Nehru Youth Center, Jagde Raho Youth Club, Bishnagarh. Club President Er. Akarsh Sharma and Secretary Er. Robin Singh said the club has been conducting monthly eye check-up camps for the last six months.

Lenses are inserted in this camp after performing cataract surgery on the needy. In the camp, Dr. Balbir Singh and Dr. Asha Pritpal Kaur’s team examined the eyes of about 65 needy people. Cataract surgeries were also performed on 5 needy people. Club founder Rajesh Sharma and chairman Ram Ji Das said that the club has set a target of conducting 10 free operations every month. All these operations will be carried out in collaboration with the club members. Raj Singh Tiwana, Ashok Nasra, Amrish Sharma, Mukesh Sharma, Dharminder Kumar, Darbar Singh, Zora Singh, Subhash Chand, and Subhash Taneja were present at the Camp.
