 Punjab State Power Corporation Limited has published the cut electricity tariff. A new electricity tariff will be applied from November. In setup to apply the commitment of Punjab Government in authentic spirit under the leadership of CM Punjab.

CMD told that PSPCL has reduced the electricity tariff of household consumers by Rs 3 per unit with a load of 7 KW with aftereffect from November. As an aftereffect, nearly 70 lacs household consumers are crossing to be advantaged and consolation of Rs 3200 crores annually. 

New tariff for households

  • The new tariff for household consumers (Upto 2 KW) will be1.19 Per unit for up to 100 units. 
  • The tariff for the consumers possessing load above 2 KW and Upto 7 KW will subsist Rs1.49 per unit for up to 100 units. 
  • The consumers commanding load up to 7 KW will compensate a tariff of Rs4.01 per unit for 101 to 300 units.
  •  loaded up to 7 KW will have to compensate Rs5.76 per unit above 300 units. 

PSPCL aftereffects announcement of Rs 3 cut tariff; substitute tariff released. CMD told that PSPCL has waived off electricity bills add up around Rs/-1500 crores of around 53 lacs household consumers with a load of 2 KW. The fixed tariff cost of middle-scale mechanical consumers with a load (Above 20 KVA up to 100 KVA) has lived changed to Rs 60 per KVA.  60 per KVA from Rs 120 per KVA with aftereffect from November.
