The Supreme Court of New York has refused to stay the sentence to be pronounced on Friday against the president-elect of the United States, Donald Trump, in the case of paying money to silence the mouth of a porn star. A New York appellate court judge denied Trump’s legal team a hearing in a summary order. Trump appealed to the country’s highest court to cancel the sentencing hearing scheduled for Friday in this case. After a New York court, Judge Juan M. Merchen refused to stay the sentence, Trump’s lawyers took the Supreme Court rate. This decision may increase the difficulties of President-elect Trump, who is to take oath of the highest office of the country on January 20. – Ap
