The Akali family of village Khosa Randhir joined the Congress

The Shiromani Akali Dal has suffered a big blow in Khosa Randhir village of the constituency. With the encouragement of senior Congress leader Gurjant Singh, many Akali supporters of the village joined the Congress party under the leadership of Kaka Sukhjit Singh Lohgarh, former MLA of the constituency and president of the District Congress Committee. Former MLA Lohgarh, during a meeting of workers in the village, included former panch Bhupinder Singh Bhinda, Virinder Singh and Harvinder Singh along with a large number of their colleagues in the Congress party. Youth Congress district president Sohan Singh Khela, former chairman Swaj Singh Bhola Mastewala, former president Amandeep Singh Gill and Raj Kadarwala were present on this occasion. Former MLA Kaka Lohgarh said that only the Congress party is capable of providing stable government and good administration to the people of the state.
