The 23-year-old Mangesh, who is a left-arm fast bowler and bowls quick yorkers, has become the highest wicket-taker in the Madhya Pradesh T20 League. He took 14 wickets in 21 overs for Gwalior Cheetahs. He took three four-wicket hauls in six matches, including a brilliant spell of 4 for 18 in three overs. Building on his impressive performance in the MP T20 League, Mangesh made his debut for Madhya Pradesh in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He played two matches in the Super League stage, took three wickets and scored 28 runs off just 12 balls.
